Meaning :
When your intellect will be pure enough so as to cross over the quagmire of delusion, where you are presently stuck, where the difference between the true content of the teachings of the scriptures that you have heard, and the meaning that you should have heard, (and not interpreted by your intellect), cease to exist. When this difference between the both ceases completely, you shall attain the state of detachment (nirveda) .

The above 2 references to Srimadbhagvad-Gita pave the right path to be taken in all spiritual quest.
One can't start from any unjust and unjustified belief in this quest.
This is why The Sankhya and Yoga also don't insist upon the idea / notion of 'God', though at the the same time they don't deny the veracity of such an entity that could be named 'Ishvara' / The One Who Himself manifests as the trinity of the Ruler of the World, and the individual soul (jeeva) also.
प्रणिपातेन / praṇipātena is synonymous with Trust that is not a belief arising from knowledge, but the acceptance and awakening of the fact that I don't know, but neither I'm in a position to doubt.
It is just like visiting a doctor.
You just trust him, though this trust can later on prove itself valid or erroneous.
You neither doubt him, otherwise you just don't go to him.
You don't know about the disease; -the medical condition, but just try him and hope may be, he could help you in getting free from the trouble.
A name of Lord Shiva (The 'Ishvara'-Principle as narrated just now), is 'भव' / 'bhava' that has the root-verb 'भू' synonymous with 'be-ing' - the state prior to the state of existence.
'existence' is 'भव' / 'bhava'.
The 'नटराज' / natarāja is another name of Lord Shiva.
'नटराज' / natarāja means the Lord of Drama / नाटक / nāṭaka
'nāTaka' नाटक / nāṭaka means playing one of the 33 roles that are enlisted by the sage 'भरत' / 'Bharata' , the author of नाट्यशास्त्र / nāṭyaśāstra . नाट्यशास्त्र / nāṭyaśāstra is thus a play of 'roles' of drama that is collective consciousness of the existence.
निर्वेदम् / nirvedam is the very first of those 33 भाव / bhāva .
Incidentally, this is perfectly in tuning with the 33 देवता / devatā as are described in Veda-texts.
This forms the basis for the Celestial-Sphere or the :
आधिदैविक / ādhidaivika .
This 3-level classification thus enables us to see how one can't approach ईश्वर / īśvara in a directly .
One could however approach to Lord शिव / śiva / महादेव / mahādeva, through devotion / भक्ति, or various rituals that are described in Veda and the relevant texts of पुराण / purāṇa and तन्त्र / tantra.
Now, about the 33 भाव / bhāva / देवता / devatā :
1 निर्वेदं -- disgust, despondency or just blank.
2 ग्लानि -- exhaustion, emaciation, weakness,
3 शङ्का -- apprehension
4 असूया (ईर्ष्या) -- envy
5 मद -- intoxication
6 श्रम -- fatigue
7 आलस्य - indolence, languor
8 दैन्य -- indigence
9 चिन्ता -- anxiety
10 मोह -- distraction or perplexity
11 स्मृति -- recollection
12 धृति -- contentment, or perception
13 व्रीडा -- shame
14 चपलता -- unsteadiness / inconstancy
15 हर्ष -- joy or delight
16 आवेग -- agitation or flurry
17 जडता -- stupor or stupefaction
18 गर्व -- arrogance or pride
19 विषाद -- despair or depression
20 औत्सुक्य -- impatience or eager longing
21 निद्रा -- sleeping or drowsiness
22 अपस्मार -- possession by an evil spirit, epilepsy
23 सुप्त -- dreaming or sleeping (with no dream)
24 विबोध -- waking or awakening
25 अमर्ष -- indignation or angry impatience
26 अवहित्था --dissimulation (to hide / feign)
27 उग्रता / औग्र्य -- rage, cruelty
28 मति -- assurance or mental perception
29 उपालम्भ -- reviling
30 व्याधि -- sickness
31 मरण -- death
32 त्रास -- fear or fright
33 वितर्क (तर्क) -- deliberation.
Thus the 33 presiding deities in the Celestial Sphere of are the same as the 33 व्यभिचारी भाव / vyabhicārī bhāva as noted down by the sage 'भरत' / 'Bharata' , the author of नाट्यशास्त्र / nāṭyaśāstra . नाट्यशास्त्र / nāṭyaśāstra in His treaty.
नाट्यशास्त्र / nāṭyaśāstra is thus a parallel to the वेद / Veda and the पुराण / purāṇa.

The right quest in the right state of mind along with trust and serving to the Master greatly help the aspirant in attaining the Reality that the Veda speaks of.
