In the years I was translating :
"J.Krishnamurti's Note-book"
in Hindi.
On page 25 (in that old edition),
Gstaad, July16, 1961
And searching for this I was surprised to note that my memory didn't fail me during last 14 years.
I didn't know that the latest edition also has the same page setting and the piece could be found at the same page, so I had to search for the old edition which was not available. Then I tried to locate the piece in the new edition which I have since last 2 years or more. And then I rediscovered.
There was this sentence :
"Truth can not be exact."
This took me a pretty long time to get a satisfactory Hindi word to express the meaning of this word that J.Krishnamurti might have wanted to say.
After these 14 years, 2 days ago I came across this word
याथातथ्यतो / yāthātathyato ,
and at once my mind translated this into 'exact'
याथातथ्यतो / yāthātathyato literally indicates the meaning that is inherently present in the fact.
The mantra referred to here elaborates the same in detail in the words :
याथातथ्यतोऽर्थान् व्यदधाच्छाश्वतीभ्यः समाभ्यः॥8
yāthātathyato:'rthān vyadadhācchāśvatībhyaḥ samābhyaḥ ||8
