'I' and 'mine' both these thoughts / imaginations emerge and dissolve in the mind from and into the same Transcendent Self that is Consciousness / Awareness only during the mental state when one says he is 'awake' to and in a world. Which is untouched by them. (These thought-) waves which are inseparable from That Transcendent Self that is Consciousness / Awareness like-wise arise and subside during the mental states of dream and deep sleep too. The sense 'Various actions and deeds are done by me', 'Various experiences are enjoyed by me', and 'Various activities are observed by me', are but the modes / adjuncts of the mind which has other names like : citta manas buddhi and ego also.
--
Note :
citta : the fluctuating mode of mind which comprises of feelings, moods, emotions.
manas : the activities that spring from memory and thought in the form of memory.
buddhi : intellect,
ego : The determination / conviction of oneself as a personal entity.
The first two stanzas were written for my preceding post in this blog yesterday and were included there-in. May be you would like to see.
