PARTICLE STATICS AND PARTICLE DYNAMICS
---------------------------------------©-----------------------------------
This is about :
Attention and Meditation.
Attention and Meditation are with reference to Mind.
The Mind is found in two modes.
The first is in the static mode.
That is precisely what is Attention.
Another is in the dynamic mode.
That is activity.
Mind had these 2 attributes.
Though there is also a third state that is when Mind is neither attentive, nor engaged in any of the activity.
Attention is therefore the consciousness of any object that is not the Mind but the matter.
Action / Activity is the state of the Mind when there is the involvement of the Mind completely identified with the object of the activity.
That is how the Mind of an ordinary / average man finds comfortable when there is either an activity or complete absence of the same.
The complete absence of activity implies you have no object for the attention to be focused on. In this state there is anxiety or pleasure or pain. Or you are just lost.
Being lost means you are not dead but asleep only. This may be a natural sleep or a kind of sleep induced because of some drug. One can attain this state through a kind of deliberate effort on the part of the Mind.
Thus you can 'practice' kind of something that is called 'meditation'. This is how one can often cheate one-self.
The Mind has become habitual of this kind of activity that takes it to a state of complete absorption, where there is no outward objective world any more. Or, at least, this seems so for the time being.
What time? How long?
One never knows.
In 'not knowing', 'time' just disappeares.
So what is this 'time', that seems to exist when one is 'doing' nothing?
Has this 'time' real existence -like the physical objects, that one experiences during this very 'time'!
This means 'time' is illusion.
The same is true of what we call 'space'.
Space, and Time, are therefore the inferentials only. As they assume existence in Mind only. Trying to find out their 'nature' is meaningless.
Time and Space are the imaginary intangible objects only, and could never be grasped through senses, while the 'matter' and 'energy' are the objects one can grasp through senses.
What is consciousness?
As the word itself suggests, it is there when there is 'attention'. Whatever exists is perceived in 'consciousness' is said to exist because of the 'attention' only.
There is no way of saying what-so-ever about the objects, that are not there in the field of 'attention'.
So 'attention' is verily the 'consciousness' and conversely, the 'consciousness' is verily the 'attention' itself.
Meditation or the 'attention' itself is the ground where the thought germinates and takes roots. Thoughts constitute the 'memory'.
The 'memory' keeps stored and a part is always lost while a new one is kept added to it.
Next comes the question :
What is the sense or essence of 'being'?
Isn't it basically a thought only?
Is this thought a verbal one, or kind of a feeling?
This means, there is a cognisance and also the recognition of the same where one knows the existence beyond 'me' as well.
This Reality could never be 'objectified'.
Still, one can understand through insight.
It couldn't be denied nor refuted.
Just because you are this very Reality.

The last question --
Could science ever explain what is :
CONSCIOUSNESS?
