Love and Being Loved.

Q.: Isn’t everything we do in #Life A way to be #Loved little more?

A.: This is the core Truth. Happiness alone is the cause of love. Irrespective of their form, shape and size, all beings by very nature itself, love happiness. Want to be and stay happy. And one who makes us happy seems to give us love in a direct or indirect way. But when we begin to 'expect' the same love / happiness and try to 'possess' the person or things that seem to give us love / happiness, we, because of our folly become prey to sorrow. Usually everyone falls in this trap. So doing a thing to be #Loved a little more is though not bad, sometimes this makes us possessive. And this possessiveness itself even if does not destroys our natural and spontaneous happiness, at least limits it.
In the very first place, We love ourselves the most. This love is basically of our body and the world where-in this body has its life. But sooner or later we tend to think that we are this body only that lives in a ‘world’ that is ‘outside’ this body. This erroneous thought gets so strong, and this thought gets so deep-rooted in our mind that we fail to see that this body and the world and all other living / non-living beings too are made of the same core elements that #Life / #Existence is.
To make oneself ‘happy’, to gain apparent happiness  we torture our own body in many ways, or we even over-indulge in the pleasures that we could enjoy only because the body is the ‘medium’. Body, neither suffers nor enjoys the consequences, but ‘we’ undoubtedly fall in the grip of such indulgences. Who ‘we’?
A wise though understands the limits of the body and senses that are but the instruments, very obedient servants of the body and medium also, does not follow them blindly but rather follows one’s insight and understands what is real #Love towards one and all.
Between, could one see that ‘intellect’ is also such a sense only, and the awareness of this fact is Intelligence; that is not a thought-form or conclusion. It is not necessary to name this movement that takes place in mind / consciousness , but understanding and discovering is far more important. And one who seeks true happiness can’t escape the urge.
Such a man is truly always happy even when the body is weak, diseased and the senses are unable to function properly. Because with passing of age they too get tired, exhausted and ultimately almost finished till death arrives.
