The Only Suffering.

 The Sanatana Dharma.

-------------The Hindu.-----------

-----------------------------------------

Presently the entire world appears to have been polarised between the Hindu and the anti-Hindu.

Though this naming itself is erroneous and the only cause of all fear, misunderstanding and disbelief between the various and many ideologies that are in favour of or against the Hindu.

Hindu basically is the identity of the people, culture, the traditions and the religion of all those who live in India, who are born here, have their parents, the fore-fathers and the ancients who were born here, belong to this place through the DNA since distant past.

The very concept of "Religion" in Sanatana Dharma denotes peaceful co-existence of a multicultural society in harmony with many different and divergent beliefs and lifestyles.

Dharma basically the Sanatan Dharma has the dictum of

"अहिंसा परमो धर्मः"

as its very foundation, it is the underlying  principle.

This is again the very first in the five major sarvabhaum mahavrata-s (Sovereign duties)  maintained and pointed out in scriptures, to be followed by all and everyone irrespective of his or her beliefs or ideology.

Patanjal yoga refers to this as 'Yama' which should not be transgressed in any condition, by anyone.

But how to attain this "अहिंसा" in life, action  and in principle too!

Sanatana Dharma points out two alternative  steps क्रम-विनिमेय चरण, to achieve this goal.

Just as while walking, one puts forward one foot, and stands firmly on the another, then stands firmly on that, puts forward another, and in this way walks on.

These two steps thus each one help the other and one can walk on, on the way.

This "अहिंसा" ; loosely translated as the non-violence, is walking like this on the two steps that are  अभय / निर्भयता - fearlessness, and निर्वैर  -  utter lack of enmity to all creatures.

These two steps help one-another and result in achieving the goal of "अहिंसा". This is kind of a  सिद्धि - supernatural power gained by one who has practiced, understood, attained this noble goal, walking upon the path of Dharma.

A Hindu is thus one who is neither scared, afraid and have no enmity with anything or  anyone.

This achievement is not a result of some belief or faith but is gained by one naturally,  when one realizes how all things happen in their own way and nothing and nobody can destroy or kill you.

It is Yama or Dharma that brings you the life, birth and the good or bad experiences in your life.

जाति, आयु, भोग,

Determine and govern  everyone's life and death also.  Nothing could change this course of the Providence or the Destiny.

Having firmly realized this fact and settled in it, one is ultimately released from all the miseries.

But the core question is :

How and why one comes across this trouble? The answer is : The ignorance of the truth of one's own timeless reality. That is again due to blind acceptance of the world and oneself, also, as it appears to one and the inattention to this ignorance.

This is truly a vicious circle, still if one is not afraid, has patience and has keen interest in  finding out what it (the phenomenal world, life and I) is all about, one can sure break it and attain the peace ultimate.  And that is the only release from all misery and sorrow.

But as soon a world is assumed to exist, and one who in this world as 'me', and these two in conflict with one-another, all the trouble starts.

The collective existence and taking oneself as a mere person causes imagination, fear and uncertainty holds. Then one identifies oneself with certain idea and ideology, still the doubt persists.

The history looks like a reality and everyone takes granted that he or she is subject to the conditions he or she was born in.

Then various many sects and cults spring up and one is caught in them.

There is constant struggle and strife.

And then the fear and the enmity, faith and doubt and the uncertainty keeps lurking in the background.

That is what Sanatan Dharma hints at.

Calling it "Hindu" could either help us in getting rid of all this or could further make it difficult to overcome the present situation.

That is the core-truth of this matter behind the apparent war between the anti-Hindu and the "Hindu".
