I was going through a brilliant post written by
Zia Steele on 20 Aug. 2020,
in medium.com :
"Is Consciousness a quantum phenomenon?"
It all depends on the perspective.
There are a few premises which at first look true but may lack reliability.
No one is an internet bot, but everyone and all are conscious being only.
Even the quantum is a conscious being.
The idea that consciousness is limited to a particular body how-so-ever small or big itself needs to be examined.
Intelligence and consciousness are one or two depending on the perspective only.
Today just before writing this post I wrote a post here about AI, BI, CI, HI.
Quantum principle, (Unstable?) Time-Space, and similar notions in Physics are within the frame-work of Mathematics, but Mathematics itself is found upon a set of definitions. Mathematics is thus based and supported by argumentative debate which again is subject to a language.
A language especially the spoken one, is itself a compound event where the instrument is voice. This voice could be either a sound coming out as a result of the interaction of purely material / mechanical objects or emanating from a living / conscious being endowed with awareness of a kind. This awareness is basically devoid of all distinctions like 'I' and 'not-I' and thus is described in the various spiritual scriptures (particularly those related to Veda and other such) as "Atman", "Brahman", "Cit", which all are equivalents of the spirit, soul, Supreme Reality, Totality or "Self", (Cosmic / Universal Self),
Consciousness / Intelligence,
(and in the individual as consciousness and knowledge).
So in a way, everything is everything.
(सर्वे सर्वार्थ वाचकाः)
The prominent Upanishad Ishavasya
begins with this very sentence :
ईशावास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्याञ्जगत् ।
तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथाः मा गृधः कस्य स्विद्धनम्।।
This day Science and streams of knowledge and learning, begin with an entirely contrary (if not incorrect) way.
Because our whole intellect (बुद्धि) is confined to consciousness (चेतना), it can never transcend the limits of this so called knowledge, where the knower, the known and the knowledge exist in the form of 3 distinct elements, whereas "Intelligence" (प्रज्ञा) is All-comprising Awareness (Cit / चित्) pervading all and everything, nay, it is the very "eye" that is the only witness to the manifest phenomenal Whole, while the same eye has no other witness WHO could "see" and be the evidence of this Witness.
So this Intelligence-Principle is identically the same as the Atman, आत्मन्, Brahman, ब्रह्मन्, Cit / चित्, Chaitanya / चैतन्य, respectively.
Arriving at this conclusion is possible for one who is earnest in spirit, free of any bias and prejudices, presumptions, presuppositions and truly deserves. The classic scripture Gita begins with the Samkhya-Darshana सांख्य दर्शन of कपिल, yet in all the next chapters the action / कर्म aspect of spiritual practice had been emphasized by Sri-Krishna (or VEDAVYASA / वेदव्यास, who is supposed to have written this great scripture).
Kapila (and His Samkhya-Darshana) utter not a single word about, or referring to God (ईश्वर), So some believe Kapila Muni was atheist (in the sense that He didn't mention God).
Likewise the Lord Buddha Who is again supposed to be an atheist was born in the Kingdom "Kapilavastu" which literally means :
in the lineage of Kapila Muni, is yet another hint that why / how He didn't say a word about God (ईश्वर) and still He is accepted and worshipped as an incarnation of God / Lord Vishnu (विष्णु).
May be, this day Science needs to have a glance over this rich heritage of Sanatana Dharma and reach something tremendously important for all times in present and in future of humanity as a whole.
