The Sun rises in the East....

The Sun rises in the East.
The very name of awakening is rising up of the Sun.
Ishtar (The Egyptian Goddess) was the इष्टा / iṣṭā
- ईष्टा / īṣṭā the Vedik देवी / devī .
इश् > iś , > ईश् > īś , > ईशिता > īśitā
are synonymous of the Governing Principle the governs / rules over the Existence.
इष्ट / iṣṭa , इष्टा / iṣṭā , ईष्टा / īṣṭā , all come from the stem :
इश् > iś ,
that is again synonymous with उष् > uṣ , which is the stem of another Egyptian Goddess उषा / uṣā , ऊषा / ūṣā > also written as Uzza (another Egyptian Goddess)
Al Uzza, Al-Manat and Al-lat
or,
अल् / al , अल्का  alkā  / अलका  alakā that becomes 'all' is a prefix-stem (उपसर्ग)
and could be obviously declined as il / ul which are the Arabic / Persian prefixes.
अल् / al is though another प्रत्याहार of  पाणिनी / pāṇinī , The distinguished grammarian of Sanskrit, and is like an acronym the short form that indicates the letters वर्ण / varṇa :
अ to ह of  His अक्षरसमाम्नाय .
उ / 'u' on the other hand is the middle of ॐ / om̐ (aum) and is the expression of all manifestation.
 Uzza  उष् > uṣ , उषा / uṣā , ऊषा / ūṣā, Manat >  म्ना / mnā > manifestation, and
and Lat  > लस् / लस्  (लास्ये) > las / las (lāsye) , to play / dance,
are the three forms of  देवी / devī , ईशिता > īśitā who is a इष्टा / iṣṭā , ईष्टा / īṣṭā.
म्ना / mnā, मा / मीयते, mā / mīyate , मन् > मनाति, man > manāti give us the word 'minute' and measurements of time and space.
Playful nature of देवी / devī , ईशिता > īśitā  इष्टा / iṣṭā , ईष्टा / īṣṭā .
Easter is the Divine aspect  ललिता / lalitā
Again इश् / iś (stem) , इष्टारः / iṣṭāraḥ (those who worship / desire, plural) indicate worship and desire was synonymous in Vedika parlance. And One who grants our wishes is worshiped.
To me Easter means all this.

Happy Easter!
