Years ago, precisely in the year 1984, I came across "उळ्ळदु नार्पदु" (Forty verses on Reality),
Sanskrit rendering of an original Tamizh text, authored by Sri Ramana Maharshi.
This was given the title :
"सद्दर्शनम्"
Being a student of Physics and Mathematics, I went through it with a view to studying the same without any prejudice or opinion.
The "Forty verses on Reality" has in all 40 stanzas apparently independent of one-another yet all together help in understanding well the aspects of Reality in a different way. Moreover, they are also loosely inter-connected in a beautiful way at the same time.
In those very years I was studying "Vedanta" as well.
The word "चिदाभास" is a keyword that is the centre of all this discussion.
Though modern, advanced studies and research keep on tracking what could be a plausible explanation behind the mystery / secret of existence, which our Scientist believes to be constricted within "Time-Space" conundrum, or "Time-Space-Continuum", the 40 stanzas candidly suggest :
"यत्पञ्चकोषात्मकमस्ति देहं
तदन्तरा किं भुवनं चकास्ति।
देहं विना पञ्चविधं तदेतत्
पश्यन्ति के वा भुवनं भणन्तु।।"
The same has been translated by
Sri Kapali Bharadvaja Sastri,
In English as :
"Fivefold is the bodily sheath.
Apart from it, the world appears not.
Can it?
Without the five-fold body,
Where are they that cognize the world?"
This takes me to another equivalent statement of yet another Spiritual Giant
Sri J. Krishnamurti,
When He noted:
"Observer is the Observed"
In Vedantika parlance, (though he didn't know),
He was pointing out to the same fact, namely the "चिदाभास".
Quantum Physics has though approached the "observer-observed" notion, yet hasn't so far resolved the same.
Still there is hope.

World-experience depends on senses, senses on the mind, mind on the intellect, intellect on the intelligence and intelligence on the consciousness / awareness only.
A parallel could be found in :
Technique depends upon science, science upon mathematics, mathematics upon logic, logic upon wisdom and wisdom upon the consciousness / awareness only.
