According to 'Valmiki Ramayana', Venus (Virgin) was daughter of Bhrugu Rishi,
https://swaadhyaaya.blogspot.in/2016/11/ila-akhyanah.html/ ...
The moon was son of Budha (Mercury) and Ila (ilā), ilā was feminine form of King ila (इल् / male form) ... This Bhrugu Rishi is शुक्र > śukra > शुक्र > priya (Fri in 'Friday') meaning Romantic Love. And at the same Time The Teacher of दैत्य / daitya, demons, where-as Jupiter (Brihaspati) is the Teacher of (देवता) / The Divine Conscious entities. This whole story is so beautifully narrated in वाल्मीकि रामायण / Valmiki-Ramayana.....
This 'ila' came to be known as देव इल / 'deva-ila', मनु इल, manu-ila, अव मनु इल / ava-manu-ila, asmila and अब्रह्मन् / a-brahman ... There is much more to it. So we have Emmanuel / Aman-ul, (अहं) अस्मि इल / Ismail, अब्राह्म / अब्राह्म / Abraham / Ibrahim, ..!
From (अहं) अस्मि इल / was the son of ब्रह्मन / Brahman .
Homer wrote about इल / Il alias Ilyasa / Iliad on the basis of the story of Il, but somehow altogether entirely drifted away from the context and that is why he created another classic in Greek.
Still the story of नचिकेता / Nachiketa described in the मुण्डकोपनिषद् / MundakopniShad bearse vidence and relevance with the theme, how
उशन् ह वाजश्रवा
gave away / sacrificed his son to यम / Yama The Lord of Death.
The rest of this story as an analogy could be found subsequently narrated in the different religious texts, need not be mentioned here.
